Ladies Day 2017 was bathed in late afternoon sunshine as Una O’Farrell took the honours for Best Dressed Ladies Competition with her stunning navy outfit.

Special Tiara won the 2017 renewal of the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase in the most emphatic fashion with a win in the Champion Chase. Special Tiara was ridden by Noel Fehily, who had secured the feature two-mile championship over hurdles the previous day of The Festival™.

Our Ambassadors for 2017 were Roz Purcell, who was “Team Captain for Ireland”, and Miss England’s Elizabeth Grant who was “Team Captain for Great Britain”. Who will be our Ambassadors for 2018? Keep an eye on our social media feeds and dedicated Festival™ website for the latest updates about 2018’s Ladies Day theme and Ambassadors. In 2017, we gave away a brand new MINI to a lucky attendee chosen at random – we expect similar excellent prizes for 2018.
